ISLAMABAD, April 24 (KUNA) -- In second explosion since the morning, at
least six people were wounded in southwestern Pakistan, two of them
critically, said police.
A bomb ripped through a shop on Mosque road in gas-rich Sui district of
Baluchistan province, police sources told KUNA.
They said the explosion wounded at least six people, two of them critically.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the blast.
Baluch nationalist militants had been demanding maximum provincial autonomy
and increase in royalties for minerals extracted from their land since last
many decades.
However, after the newly elected government introduced a Baluchistan
package for political and economic development of the area, militancy has
reduced to a great extent.
Earlier, another explosion in northern Pakistan wounded ten policemen. (end)
