BAGHDAD, April 20 (KUNA) -- A police officer was killed in a bomb blast in
the district of Heit west of Al-Anbar Governorate on Tuesday, police said.
A police source said three blasts rocked the region; two targeted
civilians' houses and a third explosion ripped through patrol of a police
officer who died along with a policeman. This blast occurred when the police
squad arrived at the scene where the houses were blown up.
Security forces sealed off the scene and carried out investigations. (end)
