RAMALLAH, April 14 (KUNA) -- Extremist Jewish settlers set ablaze a
Palestanian vehicle and smashed others in Hawara town near Nablu north of the
West Bank, said Palestinian Head of the settlement files Ghasan Doughlas on
Wednesday.
"The settlers also attacked a mosque and wrote racist graffiti on its walls,
" he added, noting that the settlers were confronted by citizens who tried to
prevent them from causing further damages.
Hawara is located on the road linking Ramallah and Nablus and used by the
Jewish settlers to reach settlements constructed on top of the mountains of
the West Bank. During their journey to the settlements, the Jewish settlers
vandlise Palestinian properties., despite of the military blocks set up by the
occupation authorities.(end)
