ISLAMABAD, April 9 (KUNA) -- Two suicide bombers blew themselves up Friday
in a northern Pakistani district after exchanging fire with police that left
at least five law enforcement personnel wounded, said police.
Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted two teenage suicide bombers on a
motorbike in a small area of Lakki Marwat district, police sources told KUNA.
They said the bombers opened fire at policemen and also used mortar shells.
Sources said the bombers blew themselves up while trading heavy fire with
the police, adding that at least five policemen were wounded in the incident.
