GAZA, Feb 13 (KUNA) -- Israeli Army opened fire on Saturday at Palestinian
farmers who were working on their farms east of Jabalya in the northern Gaza
Strip.
Local radio stations announced here that Israeli military vehicles
stationed on the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel fired with machine
guns at dozens of Palestinian farmers and farmland east of Jabalya.
The gunfire did not result in casualties among farmers, but forced them to
leave their land fearing harm, the radio stations said.
The Israeli army has warned the Palestinians against approaching the
separation fence between Israel and Gaza Strip at a distance of 300 meters and
vowed to target those who violate that.(end)
