BEIRUT, Jan 7 (KUNA) - Israeli military aircraft flew over Lebanese
airspace and fired at areas near the southern borders between Israel and
Lebanon, a Lebanese security source said on Thursday.
The aircraft flew for more than an hour over the northern part of the
occupied Syrian Golan Heights, Shebaa Farms, and south of Mount Hermon,
sources said, adding that two other planes flew over Bint Jbeil village and
circled over more than one town.
On the other hand, the Lebanese army and the United Nations Interim Force
in Southern Lebanon (UNIFIL) implemented joint patrols on the Lebanese borders
along the Blue Line from the farms and Naqoura for five days in response to
the Israeli actions. (end)
