CAIRO, Nov 15 (KUNA) -- An Egyptian female dies of swine flu, raising
number of fatalities from A(H1N1) virus to eight, health ministry spokesman
Abdulrahamn Shaheen said Sunday.
He said the 26-year-old female from Alexandria was admitted into the
infectious diseases hospital in the Mediterranean city yesterday suffering
from fever, coughing and breathing difficulties.
He said the female, whose name was not disclosed, was pregnant in her ninth
month and her health condition was critical.
The patient was immediately admitted into the ICU, but passed away today,
said Shaheen. (end)
