ISLAMABAD, Nov 7 (KUNA) -- Two people were killed and five others were wounded in two separate explosions in northern and southwestern Pakistani areas on Saturday, police said on Saturday.
A small grenade exploded near a girls school on Manojan road in Quetta, capital of Baluchistan province, said Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations, Shahid Nizam Durrani.
He told newsmen that the explosion injured two school teachers and wounded a student. Meanwhile, two people were killed and two were wounded in a landmine explosion in Pakistans Mohmand tribal agency.
According to local political administration authorities, the incident took place in a small Kasai village of the agency.
They told KUNA that the victims were traveling in a small passenger van when it hit a landmine, planted by Taliban militants.
