ISTANBUL, Nov 4 (KUNA) -- The Turkish Health Ministry on Wednesday
announced a new record of swine flu (A/H1N1) death cases, bringing the total
to 15 deaths in the country.
The ministry said among the latest fatalities were a 31-year-old woman and
a 55- year-old man, while the whole number of the patients exceeded 2,000.
The A/H1N1 vaccine arrived in Turkey and was used by Health Minister Recep
Akdag, in person, as an initiative to dispell public fears regarding
complications.
He confirmed 15,000 people had been injected without any symptoms of health
side-effects.
The first case of A/H1N1 reported in Turkey was in mid-May, and the first
recorded death was, in Ankara, on October 24.(end)
