Saudi-French air force drill "significant" -- official

RIYADH, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Forces Lieut-General Abdulrahman Bin Fahad Al-Faisal on Saturday highlighted significance of the joint air force drill between the Royal Saudi Air Forces with its French counterpart.
The drill, dubbed "Green Shield-2", was conducted at Dijon Airbase in Dijon, France, and aims at developing combating capability of both air forces; Al-Faisal was quoted by Saudi Press Agency (SPA) as saying.
He noted that the Saudi Royal Air Forces is participating in the drill with F-15 jet fighters. He added that it is the second participation for the forces with its French counterpart, where Saudi Arabia hosted the first drill. (end) ad.mao KUNA 101819 Oct 09NNNN
