ISLAMABAD, Sep 12 (KUNA) -- At least three policemen and a civilian were
critically wounded in a suicide blast on Saturday in northern Pakistani town,
said police.
A suicide bomber exploded himself up near Doabba Police Station in Hangu
town, about 170 kilometers from Islamabad, police sources told KUNA.
The suicide bomber was heading towards the police station when the
policemen signaled him to stop for checking, said the sources. However, they
added, he started running and detonated a suicide jacket fastened around his
body.
Police sources said that the explosion critically wounded three policemen
and a civilian. (end)
