IRBIL, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- Unknown gunmen assassinated a member of al-Hadbaa
national list northern Mosul, police said here Friday.
The gunmen shot down Ali Tareq Abawi, member of the list that is headed by
Nineveh mayor Athil Al-Nujeifi, an Iraqi police source told KUNA. Abawi was
gunned down while coming out of a mosque. (end)
