BAGHDAD, Aug 23 (KUNA) -- The health condition of head of the Supreme
Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI), Abdulaziz Al-Hakim has
deteriorated and he is now at a Tehran hospital.
An SCIRI statement said that Hakim's health is being closely monitored by a
specialized medical team.
It said that Hakim's health condition is now under control but urged Iraqis
to pray for him.
The SCIRI chief resides in the Iranian capital where he undergoes treatment
for cancer. (end)
