CAIRO, Aug 10 (KUNA) -- Twenty four new cases of the swine flu A/H1N1 virus
were confirmed, putting the toll of cases at 396, Egyptian Ministry of Health
said on Monday.
The Spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Abdul-Rahman Shaheen, said in a
press release that today's cases belonged to 18 Egyptian citizens and the
other five were from Saudi Arabia and one from Jordan, noting that out of the
24 cases, 12 cases had been diagnosed with other infections which were
previously discovered.
The spokesman added that 285 cases completely recovered from the disease,
excluding the one female fatality and the rest are receiving treatment and in
stable conditions. (end)
