MOSCOW, July 4 (KUNA) -- Russia is observing North Korea's missile activity
to guarantee that there are no threats to the country, the country's military
said Saturday.
Russia has deployed a missile launch early-warning system which operates
around the clock to detect missile launches threatening Russian territories
and maritime in the Far East, Interfax quoted Russian military sources as
saying.
The Russian forces have the means to thwart any threats, the sources added.
Press reports have so far said that North Korea test-fired six short-range
ballistic missiles today. (end)
