BAGHDAD, June 28 (KUNA) -- A booby-trapped car blew up in the northern
sector of the Iraqi capital on Sunday killing six people, police said.
The police said the explosion that occurred close to the faculty of
business administration in Al-Talbiah neighborhood targeted an American
military convoy. However, the explosion missed the target and wounded six
Iraqi civilians.
The blast took place two days ahead of scheduled withdrawal of the American
forces from the Iraqi cities. (end)
