RABAT, May 13 (KUNA) -- Morocco on Wednesday renewed its call for Algeria
to open land borders between the two countries for the benefit and future of
the two neighboring and brotherly countries.
Moroccan Minister of Communication and government spokesman Khalid
al-Nasseri told reporters that the Kingdom will keep its hands stretched out
to resolve this issue and will continue to call on the Algerian brothers to
open the borders.
He described the issue of opening the land border between the two
countries, which were closed in 1994, as a "serious issue", adding it would be
in the interest of the future of the two neighbors.
He also called for dealing with the issue of opening the land border
between the two countries in serenity and responsibility, stressing that
keeping the border closed is a process that is contrary to the logic of
