IRBIL, April 25 (KUNA) -- Three Iraqi policemen died and 15 others were
wounded in seperate explosions in Mosul and Kirkuk in northern Iraq on
Saturday, police said.
A police source told KUNA a driven car exploded at a checkpoint at
Al-Okaidat, western Mosul, killing two policemen and injuring 10 others.
A police source in Kirkuk said an explosion took place during the passing
of a joint operation patrol in southern Kirkuk, resulting in the death of a
policeman and injuring five members of the squad.(end)
