Iran Oil company signs oil agreement with French Total, worth EURO 32 mln

TEHRAN, April 24 (KUNA) -- Iranian Executive Director of the Continental Shelf Oil Company (Iranian national oil company) Mahmoud Zirkjian Alizada said on Friday that his company signed an agreement worth EURO 32 million with the French company Total to carry out support and planning operation in the Iranian Dorood three refinery.
According to Iranian Mehr news agency Alizada told reporters on the sidelines of the Fourth International Exhibition on oil, gas and petrochemicals in Tehran that there had been during the past three years, contracts worth USD 12 billion dollars with the domestic and foreign companies and the Iranian company.
The Iranian official said that there was another contract worth USD 3.7 billion in the previous year.
The Executive Director noted that the volume of oil and gas production from oil fields in the Gulf, has increased during the past year, stressing that the Iranian Frouzan oil production increased by 11 percent, as well as the size of Salman oil field production which witnessed an increase of six percent.
"Iran has 13 oil and gas fields shared with Gulf, and there are about 5 billion barrels of crude oil in those fields," Alizada added. (end) ha.mb KUNA 250042 Apr 09NNNN
