IRBIL, March 29 (KUNA) -- Two Iraqi women were killed and eight of the
Iraqi police were wounded in two separate incidents in Mosul and Kirkuk on
Sunday, the Iraqi police reported.
Police sources said that two armed militants opened fire towards a fabric
factory employee in Mosul as she was heading home. She died on the scene.
Meanwhile, in Al-Yarmouk west Mosul, a roadside bomb exploded as an Iraqi
patrol car passed by, causing the death of a woman and injury of two others.
In Kirkuk, eight members of the Iraqi Police were injured, when a bomb
exploded targetting their patrol car in the city. (end)
