Explosion in a Pakistan mosque wounds over 30

ISLAMABAD, March 5 (KUNA) -- More than 30 people were wounded Thursday evening in an explosion that ripped through a mosque in a northern Pakistani district, said police.
Police sources told KUNA that an explosion ripped through a mosque at the time when dozens of people were offering evening Maghreb prayer in Islamic Colony of Dera Ismail Khan district of North-West Frontier Province (NWFP).
Sources said that more than thirty people were wounded in the blast and several were in critical condition.
It was not immediately clear whether it was a bomb blast or suicide explosion. However, sources suggested it was a hand-grenade attack. (end) amn.tg KUNA 051713 Mar 09NNNN
