RABAT, Feb 18 (KUNA) -- UN Secretary General's envoy to Western Sahara
Christopher Ross arrived here Wednesday on a state visit.
Ross was received by senior Moroccan and UN officials at the Rabat airport.
Rabat is the first leg of Ross' visit to the region since assuming his
post. He is due to visit Tendof in Western Sahara and then Algeria.
Parties concerned to the Western Sahara conflict held four rounds of
negotiations but failed to reach an agreement over the future of the region.
Morroco offered an expanded self-rule in the Kingdom's southern provinces.
