GAZA, Dec 29 (KUNA) -- Palestinian factions continued to fire missiles at Israeli towns and settlements close to Gaza Strip on Monday.
Ezzidin Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for firing three Russian-made Grad missiles at Magdel, southern Israel.
Meanwhile, Saladin Brigades, the military wing of the National Resistance Brigades, said in a statement that it launched two "Nasser II" missiles at Nahal Oz, east of Gaza Strip.
Both factions said the attacks were in retaliation for the massacre of Palestinians in the Israeli air raid on Gaza Strip, which is in its third day.
On the Israeli side, an army spokesman told Radio Israel that three Grad missiles fired from Gaza Strip fell over eastern Negev, but said that there were no casualties or damage. (end) zt.ema KUNA 291241 Dec 08NNNN
