Anti-terror police search home
Military and Security    10/24/2008 4:00:00 PM

LONDON, Oct 24 (KUNA) -- British anti-terror police were still searching a home in Birmingham, central England, Friday, following the arrest of five men earlier this week under the UK Terrorism Act, police said.
The police said inquiries had now been completed at six other addresses in Birmingham and one in Kenilworth, central England, which were raided early last Tuesday.
Officers were granted further time yesterday to question five men who are being detained on suspicion of being involved in the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism. The police added that the raids were "not related to any immediate plot or threat to public safety" and they are not seeking anyone else in relation to the arrests.
