BAGHDAD, July 28 (KUNA) -- The toll after the blasts that targeted Iraqi
Shiites marking a religious occasion is reported up to 24 dead and 52 injured,
mostly Shiites who were headed to Al-Kathmiyah.
Medical sources said the victims of the three blasts were mostly women and
children who were in the religious processions.
The blasts were on quick succession and were followed by tight closure and
heightened security in areas where other processions are marching to mark the
death of Imam Mousa Al-Kathim.(end)
