Turkish soldier injured in PKK attack

ISTANBUL, July 22 (KUNA) -- A Turkish soldier was seriously injured in a rocket attack launched by militants from the Kurdistan workers Party (PKK) in eastern Turkey, security sources said.
NTV news channel quoted the sources as saying the attack targeted a police station in the governorate of elezag, eastern Turkey, causing serious injuries to the Turkish soldier.
The Turkish army is fighting the PKK militants, who wanted to establish a state in southeastern Turkey.
