NEW DELHI, July 12 (KUNA) -- Eleven rebels of the Liberation Tigers of
Tamil Eelam (LTTE) were killed during clashes in Northern Sri Lanka, said
security sources Saturday.
Four LTTE cadres were killed in Mannar region yesterday, Sri Lankan Defense
Ministry.
Five more rebels were killed at North of Janakapura in North-east Welioya
yesterday, the Ministry said.
Two LTTE cadres were killed in Kiribbanwewa north in Welioya, Sri Lanka's
Media Centre for National Security said today. (end)
