Military and Security    7/12/2008 11:31:00 AM

BAGHDAD, July 12 (KUNA) -- At least two civilians and an unknown number of US soldiers were wounded on Saturday in two blasts that occurred in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, security sources said.
The sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told KUNA that the first blast, targeting an American patrol in Adhamiya district, caused material damage to the vehicle.
Witnesses at the scene said a number of US soldiers were wounded in the blast.
Meanwhile, a second blast hit Doura district, southern Baghdad, wounding at least two civilians and damaging nearby vehicles.
Iraqi police, on their part, said they dismantled a booby-trapped car in Baghdad's Karaddah district. (end) mhg.ema KUNA 121131 Jul 08NNNN
