Attack in Mosul leads to injury of 17 people

BAGHDAD, June 22 (KUNA) -- Seventeen Iraqis were injured Sunday at a police checkpoint in city of Mosul, north of Iraq, said a source here Sunday.
A police source told KUNA that a booby-trapped car, which was driven by a suicide bomber, exploded at a police checkpoint in Al-Wehda neighborhood southeast of Mosul.
The injured, amongst them some Iraqi policemen, were transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment.
