GAZA, June 7 (KUNA) -- Yet another two Palestinians passed away on
Saturday, after Israeli authorities denied them exit from the Gaza Strip for
medical treatment.
Medical sources said Faten Al-Maqwisi, 48, and Lutfi Al-Buhaisi, 57, passed
away after failing to receive necessary medication that ran out under the
Israeli siege on Gaza.
Israeli denied them the opportunity to travel out of the Strip for medical
treatment.
With this, the number of Palestinians who passed away as a result of the
siege, imposed for a year now, stood at 182.
The national counter-siege committee had announced that 31 percent of all
those denied medical treatment abroad were under the age of 15. (end)
