TEHRAN, May 17 (KUNA) -- Iranian Interior Ministry announced on Saturday
the detention of a terrorist cell working for the interest of the United
States.
New findings divulge the US hand in terrorist bombing at a mosque in Shiraz
which left a dozen dead last April, the ministry said in a statement.
"Investigations from the suspects indicated that a terrorist network has
been backed by the US," the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry said that its forces have thwarted numerous terrorist plots
and obtained classified documents which indicated the US and the Israeli
logistical support for terrorist group.
It said that the US-Israeli-backed terrorist group has targeted religious
sentiments of the people and carries terrorist operations against the
religious centers in Iran.
A complete report on the group will be made public in the near future, said
