BEIRUT, May 10 (KUNA) -- Official UNIFIL spokesperson Yasmina Buzayyan
denied Saturday that any of the force's machinery came under attack Saturday.
In a press release, she said that the UNIFIL was not present along Factory
Road where the attack was claimed to have taken place.
Factory Road is located in eastern Lebanon, while the UNIFIL operated in
the south.
More than 13,000 soldiers work under the UNIFIL in implementation of UN
Security Council Resolution 1701 that effectively ended the July 2006 war.
