Iraqi soldier, 3 militants killed in Mosul clashes

IRBIL, April 17 (KUNA) -- An Iraqi soldier and three militants were killed in heavy armed clashes in the city of Mosul, northern Iraq, police sources said Thursday.
Sources in remarks to KUNA said that heavy clashes broke out Thursday at down in Bursa district, in the eastern part of Mosul.
The clashes were between the Iraqi Army and an unidentified armed group which killed the Iraqi soldier.
Meanwhile, three wanted militants were killed on Wednesday in the city of Tel Afar west of Mosul, the sources said, noting that police forces found three unidentified corpses in different parts of Mosul.(end) sbr.sab KUNA 171454 Apr 08NNNN
