RAMALLAH, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- A number of Israeli minister called Sunday for
the assassination of Hezbollah's Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah after he
stated that his group was keeping the remains of slain Israeli soldiers.
Meir Sheerit, Israel's Interior Minister, told the press that the recent
statements by Nasrallah aimed at intimidating Israel and the proper response
is to assassinate him.
Housing Minister Ze'ev Boim also made similar statements. Minister Yitzhak
Cohen also described Naserallah as being the new "Hitler", indicating that his
reappearance called for increasing the level of concern in Israel.
Meanwhile, Arab Minister in the Israel cabinet Galeb Mjadleh called for
assessing the speech made by Nasrallah to determine whether his statements
were true or not. (end)
