BAGHDAD, Dec 1 (KUNA) -- A blast in southeast Baghdad killed an Iraqi and
injured four others on Friday.
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), a police official said the incident
occurred when a suicide terrorist attempted to blast a checkpoint in
Al-Nahrawan district.
He added that the car was blasted after police elements opened fire at the
assailant who ignored their calls to stop the vehicle. (end)
