Iran manufactures new long-range rocket

TEHRAN, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- Iranian Minister of Defense and Commander of Armed Forces Logistics Mostafa Mohammad Najar said on Tuesday that Iran has built a new missile able to hit targets located 2,000 kilometers (1,250 miles) away.
He said in an official statement the construction of "Ashoura missile" is considered as one of the ministry's accomplishments, in addition to two jets and a number of electronic systems with modern communications as well as anti-armor rockets.(end) mw.sab KUNA 271259 Nov 07NNNN
