Three Iraqis killed, four injured in separate attacks in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Nov 5 (KUNA) -- Three Iraqis were killed and four others injured in separate attacks in Baghdad, Diyali, and Tikrit, Iraqi security sources said on Monday.
An improvised bomb exploded east of Baghdad killing one person, injuring four others, among them one police officer, an Iraqi police source said.
The source who did not give further details on the incident said police sealed off the area of the explosion.
In Tikrit, a Lieutenant Colonel and his escort policeman were killed in an ambush by unkown gunmen.
On another front, armed men kidnapped two doctors who works in Baqouba hospital, an Iraqi police officer in Diyali province said.
Iraqi Captain Qassem Al-Zubaidi said the armed men who used two vehicles stopped the doctors who were departing work in the hospital, adding that they were taken to an undisclosed location.(end) mhg.mb KUNA 051634 Nov 07NNNN
