Militants behead 13 hostages in Pakistan as curfew imposed in northern

valley ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- Militants have beheaded all 13 security personnel, taken as hostages on Friday, after the security forces backed by gunship helicopters launched offensive against a local militant commander and his supporters in northern Sawat valley.
All of the 13 paramilitary and police personnel have been executed by militants, a police official on the condition of anonymity told KUNA.
The official said that notes attached to the beheaded bodies warned others of same fate if found of working for the US.
Meanwhile, police said, curfew has been imposed in the Sawat valley for an indefinite period to maintain law and order situation. Locals said all entry and exit points have been closed.
Security sources said the exchange of intermittent firing was still continuing between the two sides. (pick up previous).
