ALGIERS, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- Algeria will invest USD 10 million in developing
and expanding its ports in cooperation with foreign companies, Algerian Public
Works Minister Amar Ghoul said Saturday.
Algerian radio quoted Ghoul as saying that negotiations were taking place
between his country and international companies on the development of the
ports.
A total of 95 percent of Algeria's foreign trade goes through ports, he
pointed out. (end)
