ISLAMABAD, Oct 3 (KUNA) -- At least 14 people were killed and 10 others
were wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in the Pakistani North Waziristan
tribal agency along the Afghan border, security officials said Wednesday..
A passenger van was blown up with a remote-controlled bomb in Tall area of
the agency, the officials told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). They said the
explosion killed 14 passengers and wounded 10 others.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack but authorities blamed
Taliban militants, who have been targeting security forces since the Lal
Mosque operation that left more than a hundred persons killed.(end)
