ISLAMABAD, Sept 15 (KUNA) -- A powerful blast ripped through a music center
in a small town in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province (NWFP) on Saturday,
wounding five people and destroying about 14 shops, said an official.
The music center was at Adrees Market of Boneer town, said local senior
police officer Habib Mullah to newsmen.
He said about five people suffered minor injuries and a total of 14 shops
were destroyed. He added that music CDs were scattered everywhere.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but police blames local
Taliban militants who had been warning shopkeepers of dire consequences if
they did not shut down their music and video businesses. (end)
