GAZA, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- Three residents of the southern Israeli town of
Sderot were moderately wounded Tuesday when a rocket fired by Palestinian
gunners hit the town, an Israeli Army spokesman said
The spokesman told Radio Israel the rocket landed directly in a bedroom of
a house in the town, when some residents were evacuating the place. Another
man standing near the house was injured in the eye from shrapnel and several
people suffered shock.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Fatah's military wing, claimed responsibility for
launching a locally-made "Aqsa 103" missile in the direction of southern
Israel.
The brigades said the attack came in response to Israel's continuous
aggression against Palestinians, including assassinations.(end)
