BAGHDAD, June 14 (KUNA) -- US forces killed a female Iraqi "terrorist" and
detained three others with alleged ties to a cell that made vehicle-borne
improvised explosive devices during an incursion in Baghdad, the US Army said
on Thursday.
In a statement, the army said a US tank was chasing two terrorists on
Wednesday after being seen planting explosives; the tank followed them and
raided their location.
During the raid, US soldiers engaged with the terrorists killing a female
member who darted toward them despite warnings of the Iraqi translator, the
statement said.
It stated that three other terrorists were also detained, adding that a
weapons cache containing bomb-making materials was discovered in the
