BAGHDAD, May 18 (KUNA) -- Two corpses belonging to the cousin of the
Speaker of the Iraqi parliament Mahmoud Al-Meshhedani and Al-Meshhedani's body
guard were found in the governorate of Diyala north of Baghdad on Friday, a
media source said.
The source, which demanded anonymity, told KUNA that unidentified gunmen
killed Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Adnan Ibrahim A-Meshhedani, the cousin of
Parliament Speaker, after being abducted in Diyala last Monday. His corpse was
found on Wednesday in one of Baqouba's streets.
The source added that the corpse of Al-Meshhedani's body guard, who was
abducted recently by an unidentified militant group, was also found. (end)
