NEW DELHI, May 7 (KUNA) -- Indian security forces Monday killed an "area
commander" of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) in an encounter in Doda district of
Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.
The HM guerrilla was killed today after an hour long encounter, the news
agency United News of India reported.
The slain guerrilla was identified as Irshad Ahmed Khan, it added. Three
grenades were recovered from the slain HM "commander." (end)
