Six Israelis wounded in Palestinian rockets' attack on Sderot GAZA, April 21 (KUNA) -- Six Israelis were injured when rockets fired by Palestinian militants hit Sderot in southern Israel on Saturday, the Israeli army said.
An army spokesman told the Israeli radio one rocket hit and damaged a house in Sderot and injured six inhabitants.
Al-Quds brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for the attack.
Soon after the rockets' attack, said the spokesman, Israeli helicopters bombarded Palestinian activists riding a car in northern Gaza Strip killing one and injuring another.
Eyewitnesses said an Israeli helicopter unleashed two rockets at the car killing 45-year-old Kamal Anan of Al-Quds brigades.
In the West Bank, Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian girl in Jenin.
Palestinian medical sources said the Israeli ground forces entered a house in Jenin refugee camp and opened fire killing Bushra Barqhish, 17.
