CAIRO, June 28 (KUNA) -- Palestinian Fatah parliamentary leader Azzam
Al-Ahmed held discussion Saturday with Arab League Secretary General Amr
Moussa regarding ways of enhancing Palestinian national dialogue efforts and
end division among Palestinian two main parties.
Al-Ahmad said in a press release after the meeting that discussion focused
on efforts exerted to kick off Palestinian talks, end division in the arena
Palestinian, and return unity based on the Yemeni initiative.
The Palestinian official noted that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met
Arab League Chief prior to his tour in the region, hoping that the Arab League
provide the most suitable atmosphere and plays a vital role in reviving the
Palestinian-Palestinian talks.
The Palestinian official added that such division only benefits the Israeli
occupation and all who stand behind it, and hoped that the Palestinian
dialogue starts as soon as possible.(end)
