Haaretz: Israeli army t-shirts carry remarks urging to kill Arab women, children

(With photos) GAZA, March 21 (KUNA) -- An article issued by Israeli daily Haaretz on Saturday, revealed the extent of racism and brutality carried in the mindset of the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) against Palestinians, in particular women and children.
The article published on Haaretz's official website revealed inscriptions and images imprinted on t-shirts officially purchased by the IDF, which urge the killing of Palestinian women and children, and the demolition of mosques.
Upon graduation, various brigades of the IDF collect these t-shirts, approved by senior ranked army personnel.
One of the t-shirts, shows a pregnant woman in a veil and Islamic clothing with a bull's-eye targeting her swelled stomach, with a remark in English saying "1 shot, 2 kills." An image of a Palestinian baby, who grows into a boy in combat and then an armed adult, with the words, "No matter how it begins, we'll put an end to it, " are the theme of another.
Other t-shirts show images and text that incite sexually abusive behaviour towards Palestinian women, with more carrying images of dead babies, mothers weeping on their children's graves, a gun aimed at a child and bombed-out mosques, according to the Israeli newspaper. An Israeli soldier told Haaretz "usually the shirts undergo a selection process by some officer, but in this case, they were approved at the level of platoon sergeant. We ordered shirts for 30 soldiers and they were really into it, and everyone wanted several items and paid NIS 200 on average." While international humanitarian organizations continue to accuse the IDF in its recently waged war against Gaza, for carrying out the deliberate killing of women and children, Israel constantly denies such accusations.
