KUWAIT, March 29 (KUNA) -- 1952 -- Iraq's Crown Prince Abdulilah arrived in Kuwait on a three-day official visit.
1954 -- Saudi King Saud bin Abdulaziz paid a seven-day official visit to Kuwait.
1961 -- Kuwait and Saudi Arabia signed a border agreement under which the neutral zone is surveyed and demarcated.
1966 -- Decree 161 was issued to establish an information consulting council under Ministry of Guidance and Information.
1974 -- Kuwait's national football team won the Third GCC Cup.
1975 -- The 1971 Convention Concerning Protection against Hazards of Poisoning Arising from Benzene came into effect in Kuwait.
1983 - The Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Saad Alآ­Abdullah Alآ­Salem Alآ­Sabah inaugurated the Majerus truck factory.
1989 -- Kuwait signed a protocol on pollution resulting from exploring and utilizing the continental shelf.
2000 -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Alآ­Ahmad Alآ­Jaber Alآ­Sabah inaugurated "Alآ­Hashimi II," regarded as one of the world's largest wooden ships, at the Radisson SAS Hotel.
