KUWAIT, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- 1963 -- The first Czech Ambassador delivered his credentials to His Highness (the late) Amir, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
1964 -- The State of Kuwait opened an embassy building in Germany.
1990 -- A 35-member Kuwaiti consultancy group chaired by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah was declared in Taif, Saudi Arabia, with aim of using all available resources and potentials for pressing ahead with the liberation of Kuwait from the Iraqi occupation.
1992 -- Kuwait joined the Vienna Treaty for the Protection of the Ozone.
1993 -- Kuwait decided to suspend boycott of South Africa and establish political, cultural and commercial ties with the African state.
2001 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khalid Al-Sabah issued a decision to form a committee for human rights.
2001 -- Minister of Commerce and Industry Salah Khourshed issued a decision regulating credit operations, carried out by companies that were not under supervision of the Central Bank of Kuwait.
2004 -- MPs Ahmad Al-Mulaifi and Ali Al-Rashed interpellated Minister of State or Cabinet Affairs and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Mohammed Dhaifallah Sharar on charges of corruption and irregularities.
2007 -- Interior Minister Sheikh Jaber Khalid Al-Sabah issued a ministerial order for the issuance of an electoral card, listing the voter's information and showing the individual's photo. (end) gta
